About Chobe National Park
Chobe National Park in northern Botswana is home to Africa's highest concentration of savannah elephants, with herds of 500 or more animals moving between the Chobe River and the park's interior during the dry season. The Chobe Riverfront delivers some of Africa's most prolific wildlife viewing: sunset boat safaris from Kasane past wallowing hippo pods, basking crocodile, raucous colonies of carmine bee-eaters, and elephant swimming across the river from the Namibian bank. The park's Savuti region, famous for lion and the annual zebra migration, offers a completely different ecosystem to the riverfront, making Chobe one of Botswana's most diverse and rewarding safari destinations.
