Overview
The Okavango Delta & Chobe Safari is a 8-day safari through Okavango Delta & Chobe National Park, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. This route takes in Okavango, Victoria Falls, Chobe, with each day sequenced to put you in the right place at the right time for wildlife.
Southern Africa covers a lot of ground, and the sequence matters. Saringi has been putting these itineraries together since 2018, and this one is built to balance game-rich safari days with the scenery and culture that make the region worth the journey. Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive Maun -- Fly to Okavango Delta
Fly into Maun and connect by light aircraft to a private Delta concession. Arrive for a late lunch and an afternoon game drive or mokoro excursion.
Day 2Full Day, Okavango Delta
Full day of Delta activities: a morning mokoro trip through the papyrus channels and an afternoon game drive across the drier areas of the concession.
Day 3Full Day, Okavango Delta
Second full day exploring the Delta. Sunrise mokoro at first light and an afternoon boat safari, watching the Delta's extraordinary birdlife from the water.
Day 4Fly to Linyanti / Savute
Charter flight to the Linyanti or Savute area, known for exceptional elephant mega-herds and strong predator activity -- a dramatic contrast to the Delta.
Day 5Full Day, Linyanti
Full day of game drives in the Linyanti wilderness, seeking the elephant herds and the predators that follow them. Wild dog, lion, and cheetah are all regularly encountered.
Day 6Fly to Chobe National Park
Charter flight to Kasane and transfer to your Chobe riverside lodge. Afternoon river cruise along the Chobe River, home to Africa's densest elephant population.
Day 7Full Day, Chobe River
Morning game drive through Chobe's riverfront woodland and an afternoon river cruise. The combination of land and water game viewing in Chobe is one of southern Africa's finest wildlife experiences.
Day 8Kasane -- Depart
Transfer to Kasane airport for onward connections, or continue directly to Victoria Falls. End of Saringi Tours services.
