Which Botswana safari route suits you?
Botswana tours are not all the same trip. A Delta fly-in safari gives you remote camps and time in one ecosystem. Adding Chobe brings river cruises and a different wildlife setting. Victoria Falls adds a cross-border finish. Start with the experience you want, then choose the route.
Choose your route before choosing your lodges
For a first visit focused on the Okavango, begin with a week-long fly-in itinerary through contrasting Delta areas. If you want both water-based activities and riverfront wildlife, compare an Okavango and Chobe route. A longer journey can add Moremi and Victoria Falls without trying to move camp every day.
Check the day-by-day route, not just the headline. Some itineraries also visit Linyanti, Savute or Zimbabwe. The tour cards on this page show starting options; we can adjust the sequence and number of nights to your dates.
What determines a Botswana safari price?
Camp choice, season, flight legs, length of stay and room sharing all affect the quote. Remote fly-in camps have different costs from a stay based around Kasane. A cheaper nightly rate may not include the transfers or activities you want.
Ask for the complete trip price, with accommodation, meals, internal transport, fees and included activities listed. We quote against actual camp availability rather than advertise a starting price that may not fit your dates. International flights, insurance and optional extensions are identified separately.
Match the season to your priorities
The drier months generally offer good conditions for wildlife viewing, while the greener months bring different scenery, birding opportunities and sometimes different camp rates. Do not choose an Okavango stay purely from a country-wide weather chart: local water access also matters.
If a mokoro or boat outing is essential to your trip, ask us to check the specific camp and travel month. Flights and light-aircraft luggage allowances also need confirming before you decide how to pack.

Explore routeQuestions before you book
How many days do I need for Botswana?
Our seven-day Delta itinerary is a useful starting point for a focused visit. Eight to ten days gives more room to combine areas. The right length depends on the camps, flight connections and whether you want Victoria Falls as well.
Can I combine Botswana with Victoria Falls?
Yes. Our ten-day Botswana and Zimbabwe itinerary finishes at Victoria Falls. Border arrangements, visa requirements and onward flights are checked for your nationality and travel dates.
Will my Botswana safari include mokoro activities?
Only if the selected camp, conditions and confirmed itinerary support them. Water activities are not interchangeable with game drives and are not possible at every camp throughout the year.
