Overview
The Ultimate Botswana Safari is a 10-day safari through Central Kalahari, Okavango Delta & Chobe National Park, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. This route takes in Okavango, Chobe, with each day sequenced to put you in the right place at the right time for wildlife.
Southern Africa covers a lot of ground, and the sequence matters. Saringi has been putting these itineraries together since 2018, and this one is built to balance game-rich safari days with the scenery and culture that make the region worth the journey. Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive Maun -- Fly to Central Kalahari
Fly into Maun and connect by charter to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Arrive for a late lunch and an afternoon game drive across Africa's second-largest wildlife reserve.
Day 2Central Kalahari -- Meerkats & Desert Wildlife
Full day exploring the Central Kalahari. Habituated meerkat groups at Jack's Camp are one of Africa's most charming wildlife encounters. In the dry season, brown hyena, cheetah, and the desert-adapted black-maned Kalahari lion are the main predator attractions.
Day 3Fly to Okavango Delta
Charter flight north to a private Okavango Delta concession for three nights. Arrive for lunch and an afternoon water-based activity.
Day 4Full Day, Okavango Delta
Full day of game drives and water activities. The Delta's exceptional predator density and mokoro excursions provide two entirely different perspectives on the same extraordinary wilderness.
Day 5Full Day, Okavango Delta
Third day in the Delta for extended exploration. Walking safari on dry land and a sunset boat cruise across the floodplains.
Day 6Fly to Linyanti
Charter flight to the Linyanti wilderness for exceptional predator sightings and elephant mega-herds. The Zarafa concession's resident wild dog packs are among the most reliably seen in Botswana.
Day 7Full Day, Linyanti
Full day of game drives in Linyanti. Wild dog, lion, leopard, elephant, and the seasonal zebra herds make it one of Botswana's finest predator destinations.
Day 8Fly to Chobe National Park
Charter flight to Kasane and transfer to your Chobe riverside lodge. Afternoon river cruise along the Chobe, where herds of hundreds of elephants drink and swim.
Day 9Full Day, Chobe River
Morning game drive and afternoon river cruise. The Chobe River in the dry season is one of Southern Africa's greatest wildlife spectacles.
Day 10Kasane -- Depart
Transfer to Kasane airport for onward or international connections. End of Saringi Tours services.
