Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Nairobi – Maasai Mara (Scenic Flight, 45 min)
Transfer to Wilson Airport, Nairobi, for a scheduled scenic flight to the Mara. Fly over the Great Rift Valley and the Loita Hills before landing at one of the private conservancy airstrips. Met by your guide, you'll transfer to your luxury camp: a Relais & Châteaux or similar property in an exclusive-use conservancy bordering the main reserve. Afternoon game drive on private land with no crowding at sightings.
Day 2Maasai Mara – Full Day
A full day of game drives in the Mara conservancy and main reserve, guided by a specialist with encyclopaedic bush knowledge. Morning drives focus on big cats: the conservancies are renowned for exceptional leopard sightings. A leisurely breakfast back at camp is followed by a midday rest and an afternoon drive into the main reserve for the Great Migration herds (July–October). Night drive after dinner.
Day 3Maasai Mara – Full Day
Another extraordinary day in the Mara. Optional early morning guided walk through the conservancy grasslands with an armed Maasai ranger: a rare chance to feel Africa at ground level. Afternoon drive in the reserve, perhaps following a cheetah mother teaching her cubs to hunt. Sundowner drinks in the bush as the sun dips over the Mara. Return to camp for a gourmet dinner under the Milky Way.
Day 4Maasai Mara – Morning Drive – Flight to Nairobi
Final sunrise game drive in the conservancy, making the most of every last moment. Return to camp for a full breakfast before transferring to the airstrip for the scenic flight back to Wilson Airport, Nairobi. End of Saringi services.
