Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive Entebbe -- Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Arrive at Entebbe and drive southwest to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approx. 5-6 hrs), arriving for an evening game drive across the Kasenyi Plains.
Day 2Kazinga Channel & Ishasha Tree-Climbing Lions
Morning Kazinga Channel boat cruise, one of Africa's finest wildlife experiences. The channel teems with hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and over 600 bird species. Afternoon game drive through the Ishasha sector in search of the famous tree-climbing lions.
Day 3Kyambura Gorge -- Optional Chimpanzee Trek
Optional morning chimpanzee trek in the Kyambura Gorge, a hidden rainforest gorge cutting through Queen Elizabeth's savannah. Afternoon drive towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Day 4Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Scenic drive south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (approx. 2-3 hrs from Kyambura). Arrive in the afternoon and settle into your forest lodge ahead of tomorrow's gorilla trek.
Day 5Mountain Gorilla Trekking, Bwindi
Early morning park briefing, then enter the ancient Bwindi forest in search of one of the habituated gorilla families. The trek can take 2-6 hours. Spend a precious hour in the presence of mountain gorillas.
Day 6Rest Day -- Community Walk
A free day to absorb Bwindi's extraordinary forest atmosphere. Optional: a guided Batwa cultural visit, a forest walk with a naturalist guide, or a visit to the Buhoma community craft market.
Day 7Bwindi -- Entebbe -- Departure
Drive or fly from Bwindi to Entebbe International Airport for onward or international connections. End of Saringi Tours services.

Good to Know
Your route covers Queen Elizabeth National Park & Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The arrival arrangements on Day 1 and the final-day transfer form part of this itinerary; share your flight times with us before booking so we can check the connections.
Entry documents: check the passport, visa and entry-permission requirements for Uganda before travel. Requirements depend on your passport and can change. We confirm the planned crossings and arrival points with your itinerary.
The Bwindi gorilla permit is listed as included. The Day 3 Kyambura chimpanzee trek is optional and needs a separate available permit and quote. It is not the same as the included Bwindi experience.
Allow time for the road journeys shown in the daily plan. Driving times are estimates, with stops, road conditions affecting the day. Tell us about mobility needs or a preference for shorter travel days while we plan the route.
Trekking is planned on Day 5. Confirm the required permits before fixing your travel dates. Forest conditions and walking times vary; bring broken-in boots and rain protection, and tell us about any fitness or mobility concerns.
