Overview
The Kidepo Valley Wilderness Safari is a 7-day safari through Kidepo Valley National Park & Murchison Falls, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. Every game drive, lodge, and activity has been chosen for what it adds to the experience as a whole.
Gorilla trekking in this part of East Africa requires specialist knowledge, advance permits, and a reliable local network. Saringi handles all of it: permits, guide allocations, and lodge bookings are managed on your behalf. The itinerary is private and fully flexible. Dates, pace, and accommodation can be adjusted at any point, and Kenya or Tanzania wildlife days can be added if you want to extend the journey.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Entebbe to Murchison Falls
Fly or drive north from Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park, overnighting en route to Kidepo. Afternoon game drive along the southern bank of the Nile.
Day 2Fly to Kidepo Valley National Park
Scenic charter flight northeast to Kidepo Valley National Park, in Uganda's remote corner near the South Sudan and Kenya borders (approx. 1 hr). The aerial views over the Karamoja region are extraordinary. Transfer to Apoka Safari Lodge.
Day 3Kidepo -- Full Day Game Drives, Narus Valley
Full day of game drives across the Narus Valley, Kidepo's primary game-viewing area. The valley attracts elephant, lion, buffalo, eland, and zebra in excellent numbers. Cheetah sightings, rare elsewhere in Uganda, are recorded regularly. The surrounding Morungole and Napore mountain ranges create a backdrop unlike anything else in East Africa.
Day 4Kidepo Valley & Karamojong Cultural Visit
Morning game drive into the Kidepo Valley itself, then an afternoon visit to a Karamojong village. The semi-nomadic Karamojong are one of East Africa's most culturally distinct pastoralist communities. Return for sundowners at Apoka with a panoramic view across the wilderness.
Day 5Final Kidepo Game Drive -- Fly South
A dawn game drive in Kidepo before flying back south to Murchison Falls (approx. 1 hr). Afternoon game drive or Nile boat cruise at Murchison.
Day 6Murchison Falls -- Top of the Falls Hike
Morning hike to the top of Murchison Falls for a close-range view of the Nile forcing through the 7-metre gorge. Afternoon game drive on the northern savannah.
Day 7Murchison Falls -- Entebbe -- Departure
Drive or fly to Entebbe International Airport for onward or international connections. End of Saringi Tours services.
