Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive Johannesburg -- Transfer to Kruger
Fly into Johannesburg and transfer to the Kruger area (approx. 5 hrs by road or 1 hr by charter). Arrive for an afternoon game drive in the central region.
Day 2Full Day, Kruger
Full day of guided game drives through Kruger's central region, known for reliable Big Five sightings. At 19,633 sq km, Kruger is one of Africa's largest national parks with an excellent road network.
Day 3Transfer to Sabi Sands
Transfer into the Sabi Sands Game Reserve for three nights of twice-daily private game drives. Sabi Sands shares an unfenced boundary with Kruger, so the same Big Five wildlife moves freely between public park and private reserve.
Day 4Full Day, Sabi Sands
Two game drives across one of Africa's most productive wildlife areas. Leopard sightings in Sabi Sands are extraordinary, with multiple encounters on most trips.
Day 5Full Day, Sabi Sands
Final full day of twice-daily drives. Optional walking safari in the morning. Night drive for leopard and smaller nocturnal species.
Day 6Final Drive -- Fly to Johannesburg
Final dawn drive before flying from Skukuza or Hoedspruit airport to Johannesburg for onward or international connections. End of Saringi Tours services.
