Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive Cape Town
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Evening dinner in the city.
Day 2Cape Town -- Table Mountain & V&A Waterfront
Table Mountain cable car in the morning, then the V&A Waterfront and Cape Town's celebrated restaurant scene. Optional Bo-Kaap neighbourhood walk.
Day 3Cape Winelands
Drive to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek for private wine tastings at three estates and lunch at one of Franschhoek's celebrated restaurants.
Day 4Drive to Hermanus & Grootbos
Drive along the coast via Clarence Drive to Hermanus, famous for coastal whale watching (Southern Right Whales, June-November). Continue to Grootbos Private Nature Reserve for an afternoon fynbos walk.
Day 5Grootbos -- Marine Wildlife & Fynbos
Full day at Grootbos: guided fynbos botanical walk, marine activities at Gansbaai, and an afternoon boat trip. Walker Bay Marine Reserve hosts one of the world's most significant Southern Right Whale nurseries.
Day 6Drive the Garden Route to Knysna
Drive east along the Garden Route, stopping at the Wilderness coastal lakes, before arriving at Knysna's famous lagoon. Sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon with its distinctive sandstone Heads.
Day 7Plettenberg Bay & Forest Walks
Drive to Plettenberg Bay for beach time and optional whale and dolphin boat trip. Visit Tsitsikamma National Park for a forest walk along the Storms River.
Day 8Fly from George -- Depart
Drive to George airport for a flight to Cape Town or Johannesburg for onward or international connections. End of Saringi Tours services.
