The Cape Town & Sabi Sands Luxury Safari is a 9-day safari through Cape Town & Sabi Sands Game Reserve, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. This route takes in Kruger, Cape Town, with each day sequenced to put you in the right place at the right time for wildlife.
Southern Africa covers a lot of ground, and the sequence matters. Saringi has been putting these itineraries together since 2018, and this one is built to balance game-rich safari days with the scenery and culture that make the region worth the journey. Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive Cape Town
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport and transfer to your hotel on the Atlantic Seaboard. Evening at leisure.
Day 2Cape Peninsula
Full-day guided tour of the Cape Peninsula: the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach, and the scenic coastal drive along Chapman's Peak.
Day 3Cape Winelands
Full-day excursion to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Private wine tastings at three or four estates and lunch in Franschhoek's restaurant quarter, regularly rated among the world's best.
Day 4Table Mountain & V&A Waterfront
Morning ascent of Table Mountain by cable car (weather permitting). Afternoon in the V&A Waterfront's galleries, shops, and restaurants. Optional sunset cruise in Table Bay.
Day 5Fly to Sabi Sands
Fly via Johannesburg to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, arriving for an afternoon game drive. Sabi Sands is famous worldwide for its extraordinary leopard sightings and unrestricted off-road driving.
Day 6Full Day, Sabi Sands
Two game drives across one of Africa's most storied private reserves. Vehicles can go off-road as needed for sightings. Leopard, lion, elephant, rhino, and buffalo are all regularly encountered.
Day 7Full Day, Sabi Sands
Another full day of twice-daily drives. Bush breakfast in the field and an optional walking safari. Night drive for leopard.
Day 8Final Game Drive
Last dawn drive before a relaxed late morning at the lodge. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 9Fly to Johannesburg -- Depart
Transfer to the airstrip for a flight to Johannesburg for onward or international connections. End of Saringi Tours services.
