Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrival – Cape Town
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport and meet your Saringi guide. Transfer to your luxury boutique hotel in the city centre or Sea Point. Settle in and enjoy your first glimpse of Table Mountain. Evening welcome dinner at a waterfront restaurant.
Day 2Cape Peninsula – Cape of Good Hope & Boulders Beach
A full-day drive down one of the world's most spectacular coastlines. Stop at Hout Bay harbour, cruise past Cape Fur Seals at Seal Island (optional), then continue to the Cape of Good Hope: the dramatic south-western tip of Africa. Visit Boulders Beach for the famous African penguin colony before returning via Simon's Town and Kalk Bay.
Day 3Table Mountain & V&A Waterfront
Morning cable car ascent of Table Mountain: Cape Town's iconic flat-topped peak: with sweeping views over the city, Robben Island, and the Atlantic. Afternoon at leisure in the vibrant V&A Waterfront: galleries, restaurants, shopping, and the Two Oceans Aquarium. Sunset at Signal Hill.
Day 4Cape Winelands – Stellenbosch & Franschhoek
Day trip into the Cape Winelands, just 45 minutes from the city. Explore the historic oak-lined streets of Stellenbosch before moving to the French-influenced Franschhoek Valley: home to South Africa's finest restaurants and award-winning wine estates. Private guided tastings at two premier estates, followed by lunch at a winelands restaurant.
Day 5Robben Island & Bo-Kaap
Morning ferry to Robben Island: the UNESCO World Heritage prison island where Nelson Mandela was held for 18 years. A guided tour by a former political prisoner brings history powerfully alive. Return to the Waterfront by midday. Afternoon walking tour of Bo-Kaap, Cape Town's vibrant Malay Quarter, with its brightly painted houses and rich heritage.
Day 6Chapman's Peak & Atlantic Seaboard
Scenic drive along Chapman's Peak: one of the world's most beautiful coastal routes. Continue through Camps Bay and Clifton, Cape Town's glamorous Atlantic-facing beaches. Afternoon at leisure: optional spa treatment, surfing lesson, or private cooking class featuring Cape Malay cuisine. Sundowners at a clifftop bar.
Day 7Free Day – Cape Town at Leisure
A full free day to explore at your own pace. Options include a scenic helicopter flight over the Peninsula, a day trip to Hermanus for whale watching (seasonal July–December), a visit to Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, or a Constantia wine valley tour closer to the city. Evening farewell dinner at a top Cape Town restaurant.
Day 8Cape Town – Departure
Morning at leisure for last-minute shopping or a final stroll along the Waterfront. Transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your onward or homeward flight. End of Saringi services.
