Overview
The 12-Day Namibia Grand Safari: Skeleton Coast, Damaraland & Etosha is a 12-day safari through Windhoek, Skeleton Coast, Damaraland, Etosha & Sossusvlei, Namibia, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. Every game drive, lodge, and activity has been chosen for what it adds to the experience as a whole.
Bush and beach is one of East Africa's most satisfying combinations, and this 12-day itinerary gets the balance right: proper wildlife days in prime game country, then a coastal or island stay to wind down. Transfers, accommodation, and logistics are all managed by the Saringi team in Nairobi. Dates, lodge category, and duration can be adjusted to suit your schedule.
Trip Highlights
Skeleton Coast: shipwrecks, Cape Cross fur seal colony and the Benguela Current
Shipwreck Lodge: sleeping in the world's most remote and dramatic desert setting
Desert rhino tracking on foot in Damaraland's Palmwag Concession
Desert-adapted elephant along ancient Damaraland riverbeds
Etosha's floodlit waterholes: lion, black rhino and elephant after dark
Sossusvlei and Deadvlei: the Namib Desert's iconic red dunes at sunrise
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport. Connect onto a light aircraft charter to the Skeleton Coast in the north-west: one of the most remote and dramatic coastlines on Earth, where the cold Benguela Current generates a permanent coastal fog and the beach is littered with shipwrecks and whale bones. Transfer to Shipwreck Lodge, set among the dunes above the wild Atlantic.
