Overview
The Ultimate Namibia & Victoria Falls Safari is a 11-day safari through Sossusvlei, Etosha, Damaraland & Victoria Falls, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. This route takes in Victoria Falls, with each day sequenced to put you in the right place at the right time for wildlife.
Southern Africa covers a lot of ground, and the sequence matters. Saringi has been putting these itineraries together since 2018, and this one is built to balance game-rich safari days with the scenery and culture that make the region worth the journey. Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive Windhoek
Arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport and overnight in Windhoek ahead of the fly-in circuit.
Day 2Fly to Sossusvlei
Charter flight over the Namib into Sossusvlei. Afternoon at leisure watching the dunes shift colour as the sun drops. The surrounding NamibRand Nature Reserve is one of Africa's first Dark Sky Reserves.
Day 3Sossusvlei & Deadvlei
Pre-dawn entry to the dunes for the most extraordinary light of the day, followed by a walk into Deadvlei. Return before midday heat. Afternoon guided desert nature walk.
Day 4Fly to Damaraland
Charter flight north to Damaraland for desert-adapted elephant and black rhino tracking in the Palmwag Concession.
Day 5Damaraland -- Full Day Tracking
Second day of desert wildlife tracking. At Desert Rhino Camp, specialist trackers from Save the Rhino Trust track black rhino on foot -- one of Africa's most extraordinary conservation-focused wildlife experiences.
Day 6Fly to Etosha
Charter flight to Etosha National Park for two nights of waterhole game viewing from the private Ongava Reserve, bordering Etosha's southern boundary. Afternoon game drive.
Day 7Full Day Etosha Game Drives
Full day exploring Etosha's pan and waterholes: lion, elephant, black rhino, and the rare black-faced impala. Night drive from your private reserve for nocturnal wildlife.
Day 8Fly to Victoria Falls
Fly via Windhoek to Victoria Falls (Zambia or Zimbabwe side), transferring to your riverside lodge. The sound of the falls begins before you see them.
Day 9Victoria Falls -- Zambian Side Tour
Full guided tour of Victoria Falls from the Zambian side, walking the rainforest path along the full width of the falls. Afternoon at leisure or optional sunset river cruise on the Zambezi.
Day 10Victoria Falls -- Activities Day
A day of optional activities: white-water rafting through the Batoka Gorge, a helicopter flight of angels over the falls, or a Devil's Pool swim on the lip of the falls (dry season only, June-September).
Day 11Victoria Falls -- Departure
Transfer to Livingstone or Victoria Falls airport for onward or international flights. End of Saringi Tours services.
