Overview
The Zambia Grand Safari is a 9-day safari through South Luangwa & Lower Zambezi National Parks, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. This route takes in Victoria Falls, with each day sequenced to put you in the right place at the right time for wildlife.
Southern Africa covers a lot of ground, and the sequence matters. Saringi has been putting these itineraries together since 2018, and this one is built to balance game-rich safari days with the scenery and culture that make the region worth the journey. Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive South Luangwa
Fly into Mfuwe International Airport and transfer to camp in South Luangwa National Park. Afternoon game drive along the Luangwa River.
Day 2South Luangwa -- Morning Walking Safari
Early morning walking safari with your professional guide and armed scout. Afternoon game drive covering the park's central areas for leopard, lion, and elephant.
Day 3Relocate to Bush Camp
Transfer to a remote walking-safari bush camp for a more immersive experience deeper in the park.
Day 4Full Walking Safari Day
A full day on foot with your guide and scout: tracking spoor, learning to read the landscape, and encountering wildlife at ground level. Night drive for leopard and nocturnal species.
Day 5Fly to Lower Zambezi
Fly via Lusaka to the Lower Zambezi National Park, transferring to camp for an afternoon boat safari on the Zambezi River.
Day 6Lower Zambezi -- Canoe Safari
Morning canoe safari paddling silently alongside elephants, hippos, and buffalo at the river's edge. Afternoon at leisure or optional walking safari in the riverine woodland.
Day 7Walking Safari & Tiger Fishing
Guided morning walk in the Lower Zambezi's riverine forest. Afternoon tiger fishing with a specialist guide, or a second canoe trip.
Day 8Full Day at Leisure -- River Activities
Final full day on the Zambezi. Game drive, canoe, boat safari, or fishing at your choice. Sunset cruise on the river.
Day 9Fly to Lusaka -- Depart
Transfer to the airstrip for a flight to Lusaka and onward or international connections. End of Saringi Tours services.
