The Victoria Falls & South Luangwa Safari is a 8-day safari through Livingstone (Victoria Falls) & South Luangwa National Park, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. This route takes in Victoria Falls, with each day sequenced to put you in the right place at the right time for wildlife.
Southern Africa covers a lot of ground, and the sequence matters. Saringi has been putting these itineraries together since 2018, and this one is built to balance game-rich safari days with the scenery and culture that make the region worth the journey. Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive Livingstone -- Victoria Falls
Arrive at Livingstone Airport and transfer to your riverside lodge on the Zambezi, within earshot of the falls. Afternoon at leisure with the spray of the falls visible from the river.
Day 2Victoria Falls -- Full Tour
Guided tour of Victoria Falls from the Zambian side, walking the rainforest path along the full 1.7km width of the falls -- one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Day 3Zambezi River Activities
A full day of optional activities: white-water rafting through the Batoka Gorge, a helicopter flight of angels over the falls, a sunset river cruise on the upper Zambezi, or a guided tour of Livingstone town.
Day 4Fly to South Luangwa
Fly to Mfuwe International Airport and transfer to camp in South Luangwa National Park for an afternoon game drive along the Luangwa River.
Day 5South Luangwa -- Walking Safari
Morning walking safari: South Luangwa's signature activity. The park's professional guides are some of the most skilled in Africa, guiding you through a landscape of exceptional leopard density.
Day 6Relocate to Bush Camp
Transfer to a remote walking-safari bush camp deeper in the park for a more immersive final experience.
Day 7Full Day, South Luangwa
A final full day of walking and game drives. Night drive for leopard, lion, and nocturnal species.
Day 8Fly to Mfuwe -- Depart
Transfer to Mfuwe airport for onward or international connections. End of Saringi Tours services.
