Overview
The South Africa Honeymoon Safari is a 10-day safari through Cape Town, Cape Winelands & Sabi Sands, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. This route takes in Zanzibar, Cape Town, with each day sequenced to put you in the right place at the right time for wildlife.
Southern Africa covers a lot of ground, and the sequence matters. Saringi has been putting these itineraries together since 2018, and this one is built to balance game-rich safari days with the scenery and culture that make the region worth the journey. Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive Cape Town
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport and transfer to your hotel on the Atlantic Seaboard.
Day 2Cape Town -- Table Mountain & Sunset Cruise
Table Mountain cable car in the morning. Afternoon exploring the V&A Waterfront. Private sunset cruise in Table Bay, watching the sun drop behind the Twelve Apostles mountain range.
Day 3Cape Peninsula
Private guided tour of the Cape Peninsula: the Cape of Good Hope, African penguins at Boulders Beach, and Chapman's Peak scenic drive. Picnic lunch with Atlantic views.
Day 4Cape Winelands
Drive to Franschhoek for two nights. Private wine tasting at a top estate on arrival, followed by dinner at one of the village's celebrated restaurants.
Day 5Franschhoek -- Full Day at Leisure
A free day in Franschhoek. Private cellar tour and tasting at Delaire Graff Estate, or a morning cycle through the vineyards followed by a long, unhurried lunch.
Day 6Fly to Sabi Sands
Fly via Johannesburg to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve for an afternoon game drive. The contrast between the cultivated Winelands and the raw African bush is one of this itinerary's great pleasures.
Day 7Sabi Sands -- Full Day
Two game drives across one of Africa's finest private wildlife areas. Dawn drive at golden hour, bush breakfast in the field. Evening drive and night drive for leopard.
Day 8Sabi Sands -- Private Bush Dinner
Dawn drive and a full morning at leisure. Private bush dinner arranged in the field for the evening: a candlelit table in the bush with your ranger as host, under an African sky.
Day 9Sabi Sands -- Full Day
Final full day of twice-daily drives. Optional walking safari in the morning.
Day 10Fly to Johannesburg -- Depart
Final dawn drive before flying to Johannesburg for onward or international connections. End of Saringi Tours services.
