Overview
The 5 Days Uganda Primates Adventure Flying Safari is a 5-day safari through Entebbe, Kibale National Park & Bwindi Impenetrable NP, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. This route takes in Bwindi, Kibale, with each day sequenced to put you in the right place at the right time for wildlife.
Gorilla trekking in this part of East Africa requires specialist knowledge, advance permits, and a reliable local network. Saringi handles all of it: permits, guide allocations, and lodge bookings are managed on your behalf. The itinerary is private and fully flexible. Dates, pace, and accommodation can be adjusted at any point, and Kenya or Tanzania wildlife days can be added if you want to extend the journey.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive Entebbe, Uganda
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and clear customs and immigration. Your Saringi Tours guide warmly welcomes you to Uganda: the 'Pearl of Africa', and transfers you to your hotel for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 2Entebbe – Kibale National Park – Afternoon Chimpanzee Trek (approx. 6 hrs driving)
After an early breakfast at 6 am, meet your safari guide for the scenic drive west to Kibale Forest National Park: one of Africa's most important primate habitats. The drive passes through lush green countryside and small market towns. Arrive at the lodge for lunch, then in the afternoon head to the park headquarters for briefing and chimpanzee tracking. Spend one hour with the habituated chimp community as they forage, socialise and display in the forest canopy above.
Day 3Kibale – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (approx. 5 hrs)
After a morning breakfast, check out and drive south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a scenic lunch stop en route. The winding mountain roads offer views of the Rwenzori Mountains and Uganda's terraced hillsides. Arrive at Bwindi and check in for dinner and an early rest before tomorrow's gorilla trek.
Day 4Mountain Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience, Bwindi
Before dawn, prepare with a cup of coffee before transferring to the park headquarters for your ranger briefing. Then begin the unforgettable gorilla trek into the ancient Impenetrable Forest. The tracking may take 3 to 8 hours across steep, verdant terrain. When you find the gorilla family, a complete hour of observation awaits: juveniles swinging through the canopy, a silverback watching over his family, mothers nursing their infants. In the afternoon, experience the Batwa Cultural Experience: learning about the traditions, music, forest medicine and deep connection to the land of the indigenous Batwa people.
Day 5Bwindi – Domestic Flight to Entebbe – Departure
Begin with breakfast and a final morning in the forest before transferring to the Kihihi airstrip. Your morning flight (departing 9:45 am, arriving Entebbe 11:25 am) or afternoon flight (departing 2:05 pm, arriving 3:05 pm) takes you back to Entebbe for your international departure. End of Saringi Tours services.
