Overview
The 14 Days of Kenya Safari is a 14-day safari through Samburu, Ol Pejeta, Nakuru, Naivasha & Maasai Mara, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. This route takes in Maasai Mara, Samburu, Nakuru and 1 more protected areas, with each day sequenced to put you in the right place at the right time for wildlife.
Saringi Tours is a women-led safari company based in Nairobi, and every itinerary is private and bespoke. Dates, group size, accommodation tier, and optional activities such as a hot air balloon, guided bush walks, or cultural visits can all be adjusted to fit your preferences and budget. Our team is available before, during, and after your trip to make sure everything runs as it should.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Drive north to Samburu (approx. 4.5 hrs). Arrive for lunch and first afternoon drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River: elephant herds, crocodile, and the famous Samburu Special Five.
Day 2Samburu – Full Day
Full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. Look for reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Beisa oryx, and the gerenuk alongside the more familiar Big Five. Leopard are frequently sighted in the riverside fig trees.
Day 3Samburu – Full Day
Another full day exploring Samburu's diverse habitats: open scrub, riverine forest, and rocky kopjes. Visit Archer's Post community and learn about traditional Samburu pastoral life. Night drive after dinner.
Day 4Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Drive south to Ol Pejeta Conservancy (approx. 2.5 hrs). Afternoon game drive: Ol Pejeta is the last home of the two remaining northern white rhinos on Earth, and one of Kenya's finest cheetah destinations.
Day 5Ol Pejeta – Full Day
Full day at Ol Pejeta. Morning: guided visit to the northern white rhino enclosure and the chimp sanctuary. Afternoon: game drive across the open savanna: cheetah coalitions, black and white rhino, and large lion prides are all regularly sighted.
Day 6Ol Pejeta – Lake Nakuru
Drive south to Lake Nakuru National Park (approx. 2 hrs). Afternoon game drive in this compact but wildlife-rich park: both black and white rhino, Rothschild giraffe, and thousands of flamingos on the lake shore.
Day 7Lake Nakuru – Full Day
Full day in Nakuru. Morning drive along the lake shore for flamingo and rhino sightings. Afternoon: lion prides in the yellow-bark acacia forests and Rothschild giraffe browsing above the tree line. Baboon Cliff viewpoint for sunset.
Day 8Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
Drive south to Lake Naivasha (approx. 1.5 hrs). Afternoon hippo boat safari on the lake: hippo pods, African fish eagles, and hundreds of waterbirds.
Day 9Lake Naivasha – Full Day
Cycle through Hell's Gate National Park among free-ranging wildlife. Afternoon: guided Crescent Island walking safari and sunset boat cruise on the lake.
Day 10Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara
Drive from Naivasha to the Maasai Mara (approx. 3.5 hrs). Stop at the Rift Valley escarpment viewpoint. Arrive for lunch and first afternoon game drive in Africa's most celebrated wildlife reserve.
Day 11Maasai Mara – Full Day
Full day of game drives: morning predator tracking, Mara River picnic lunch, afternoon following wildebeest and zebra herds across the golden plains.
Day 12Maasai Mara – Full Day
Visit the Mara Triangle for exceptional lion density and the famous river crossing sites (July–October). Afternoon drive following cheetah and elephant families.
Day 13Maasai Mara – Full Day
Final full day in the Mara. Guided morning walk with a Maasai ranger. Afternoon: explore the conservancy border areas for wild dog and rarer species. Farewell sundowner on the open plains.
Day 14Maasai Mara – Morning Drive – Nairobi
Final sunrise game drive. Breakfast at camp and drive back to Nairobi, arriving mid-afternoon. End of services.
