The 14-Day Kenya Wildlife & Diani Beach Safari is a 14-day safari through Maasai Mara, Samburu & Diani Beach, Kenya, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. This route takes in Maasai Mara, Samburu, Diani, with each day sequenced to put you in the right place at the right time for wildlife.
Bush and beach is one of East Africa's most satisfying combinations, and this 14-day itinerary gets the balance right: proper wildlife days in prime game country, then a coastal or island stay to wind down. Transfers, accommodation, and logistics are all managed by the Saringi team in Nairobi. Dates, lodge category, and duration can be adjusted to suit your schedule.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Drive or fly to the Maasai Mara. Arrive for lunch and first afternoon game drive in Africa's most iconic wildlife reserve.
Day 2Maasai Mara – Full Day
Full day of game drives in the Mara. Morning predator tracking, Mara River picnic, afternoon following the great herds and tracking big cats.
Day 3Maasai Mara – Full Day
Explore the Mara Triangle for lion prides and the river crossing sites. Optional romantic hot air balloon at dawn over the Mara plains.
Day 4Maasai Mara – Full Day
Third full day in the Mara. Guided morning walk with a Maasai ranger. Afternoon cheetah and elephant tracking. Farewell sundowner on the open plains.
Day 5Maasai Mara – Flight to Samburu
Scenic flight north from the Mara to Samburu (approx. 1.5 hrs). Arrive at your riverside camp on the Ewaso Nyiro for lunch and first afternoon drive among Samburu's unique northern wildlife.
Day 6Samburu – Full Day
Full day in Samburu: reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, leopard in the riverside trees, and the extraordinary northern Kenya landscape. Night game drive available.
Day 7Samburu – Full Day
Another full day along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Visit the Samburu community and learn about traditional pastoral life. Afternoon game drive targeting the Samburu Special Five.
Day 8Samburu – Flight to Mombasa – Diani Beach
Morning drive in Samburu then fly south to Mombasa. Cross the Likoni Ferry to Diani Beach. Check in to your luxury beachfront resort. Sundowners on the Indian Ocean.
Day 9Diani Beach – At Leisure
Full day of pure beach bliss: swim, snorkel above the coral reef, kayak in the warm turquoise water, or simply be pampered at the resort spa.
Day 10Diani Beach – At Leisure
Another day of leisurely beach life. Optional sunset dhow cruise along the coast with a private sundowner setup.
Day 11Diani Beach – Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park
Full-day boat excursion to Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park: snorkelling above pristine coral gardens and swimming with dolphins. Romantic beach picnic lunch on Wasini Island.
Day 12Diani Beach – At Leisure
A free day to enjoy the resort's facilities: spa, pool, beach, and water sports. Optional trip to Shimba Hills for sable antelope in the coastal forest.
Day 13Diani Beach – Old Town Mombasa
Half-day excursion to Mombasa Old Town: Fort Jesus, the Arab Quarter, and the vibrant spice market. Return to Diani for a final evening beach dinner.
Day 14Diani Beach – Departure
Morning at leisure for a final walk along the white sand. Transfer to Moi International Airport, Mombasa. End of Saringi services.
