Overview
The 14 Days of Kenya Bush Safari and Beach is a 14-day safari through Maasai Mara, Naivasha, Amboseli, Tsavo & Mombasa Coast, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. This route takes in Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo and 1 more protected areas, with each day sequenced to put you in the right place at the right time for wildlife.
Bush and beach is one of East Africa's most satisfying combinations, and this 14-day itinerary gets the balance right: proper wildlife days in prime game country, then a coastal or island stay to wind down. Transfers, accommodation, and logistics are all managed by the Saringi team in Nairobi. Dates, lodge category, and duration can be adjusted to suit your schedule.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Drive from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara. Arrive for lunch and afternoon game drive in Africa's greatest wildlife reserve.
Day 2Maasai Mara – Full Day
Full day of game drives: morning predator tracking, picnic lunch by the Mara River, afternoon following the herds. Optional hot air balloon.
Day 3Maasai Mara – Full Day
Visit the Mara Triangle on the western bank for exceptional lion country. Afternoon elephant tracking and Maasai village cultural visit.
Day 4Maasai Mara – Lake Naivasha
Morning game drive then drive to Lake Naivasha. Afternoon hippo boat safari on the lake.
Day 5Lake Naivasha – Full Day
Morning cycling through Hell's Gate National Park among zebra, buffalo, and giraffe. Afternoon Crescent Island walking safari and sunset boat cruise.
Day 6Lake Naivasha – Amboseli
Drive south to Amboseli (approx. 3.5 hrs). Arrive for a late lunch and first afternoon game drive with Kilimanjaro towering above.
Day 7Amboseli – Full Day
Full day in Amboseli: dawn drives for cloud-free Kilimanjaro views, midday at Observation Hill, afternoon lion and cheetah tracking.
Day 8Amboseli – Tsavo West
Morning drive in Amboseli then drive west to Tsavo West National Park. Afternoon: Mzima Springs and first game drive among Tsavo's famous red elephants.
Day 9Tsavo West – Full Day
Full day in Tsavo West. Drive through the dramatic Shetani lava fields, visit Rhino Valley for possible black rhino sightings, and watch herds of red-dusted elephants at the Kilaguni waterhole at dusk.
Day 10Tsavo West – Tsavo East
Drive through Mtito Andei Gate into Tsavo East. Afternoon game drive along the Galana River among the vast buffalo and elephant herds of Kenya's largest park.
Day 11Tsavo East – Full Day
Full day in Tsavo East: Mudanda Rock at dawn as hundreds of elephants come to drink, Galana River at midday, and vast buffalo herds on the open lava plains in the afternoon.
Day 12Tsavo East – Mombasa – Diani Beach
Morning drive in Tsavo East then drive to Mombasa (approx. 2 hrs). Cross the Likoni Ferry south to Diani Beach. First evening on the Indian Ocean coast.
Day 13Diani Beach – At Leisure
Full day on one of Africa's finest beaches: swim, snorkel, kayak, or simply relax. Boat excursion to Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park available.
Day 14Diani Beach – Departure
Morning at leisure. Transfer to Moi International Airport, Mombasa. End of services.
