Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Nairobi – Amboseli National Park (approx. 4 hrs)
Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and drive south to Amboseli National Park. Arrive for a short game drive en route to your lodge, check in, and have lunch. Afternoon game drive across Amboseli's open plains: the first view of Kilimanjaro's summit rising above the park is unforgettable.
Day 2Amboseli – Full Day
A full day with unlimited game drives across Amboseli's diverse habitats: open plains, swamp edges and acacia woodlands. Dawn in the Enkongo Narok swamp delivers the classic Kilimanjaro-and-elephants shot. Visit Observation Hill in the late morning for a panoramic overview of the park. Optional activities: hot-air balloon safari and Maasai village visit.
Day 3Amboseli – Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tanzania (via Namanga border)
After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive southwest to the Namanga border crossing into Tanzania. Complete immigration formalities, join your Tanzania driver and proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a game drive on the crater floor with a picnic lunch: hippos in the crater lake, black rhino in the open grasslands, and the densest lion population in the world. Ascend for dinner and overnight on the crater rim.
Day 4Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park (approx. 3 hrs)
After breakfast, drive west through the Conservation Area to the Serengeti, stopping at the Olduvai Gorge Museum: where some of the earliest human fossils were discovered, providing a remarkable perspective on the 1.8-million-year history of human evolution in this landscape. Enter the Serengeti, enjoy a game drive en route to camp and arrive for lunch. Afternoon game drive at 3 pm.
Day 5Serengeti – Full Day
A full day in the Serengeti with full-day game drives and a picnic lunch in the field. The central Serengeti's acacia woodland and grassland plains are home to enormous lion prides, cheetah families and leopards in the riverine trees. The vast herds of wildebeest and zebra make every drive extraordinary.
Day 6Serengeti – Full Day
Another full day in the Serengeti. Today, head to the northern Serengeti to follow the migration herds (in season), or explore the western Grumeti River corridor with its legendary large-tusked elephants and massive crocodile populations. Afternoon game drive with golden-hour photography.
Day 7Serengeti – Maasai Mara, Kenya (via Isebania border, approx. 7–8 hrs)
After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive north to the Isebania border crossing back into Kenya. Carry a packed lunch as you arrive in the Maasai Mara in the afternoon. An introductory game drive en route to your camp, then dinner and overnight.
Day 8Maasai Mara – Full Day
A full day in the Mara with extensive game drives. The combination of open grasslands, riverine forests and private conservancies makes the Mara one of the world's most diverse safari destinations. Picnic lunch by the Mara River. Big-cat encounters are virtually guaranteed: lion, cheetah and leopard are seen on the majority of drives.
Day 9Maasai Mara – Full Day
Another full day in the Mara. In migration season, position at the river crossings for wildebeest and zebra jumping into the crocodile-filled Mara River. The golden light of the late afternoon Mara is among the finest in Africa for photography.
Day 10Maasai Mara – Nairobi (approx. 5 hrs, Departure)
Pack up, check out and depart the Mara for Nairobi. The park is always busy in the morning hours and you may catch last-minute wildlife action as you exit. Arrive in Nairobi for lunch at a city restaurant, then hotel or airport drop-off for your outbound flight. End of Saringi Tours services.

Your route covers Nairobi, Amboseli, Ngorongoro, Serengeti & Maasai Mara. The arrival arrangements on Day 1 and the final-day transfer form part of this itinerary; share your flight times with us before booking so we can check the connections.
Entry documents: check the passport, visa and entry-permission requirements for Kenya and Tanzania before travel. Requirements depend on your passport and can change. We confirm the planned crossings and arrival points with your itinerary.
You enter Tanzania at Namanga and return to Kenya at Isebania. Check your entry permission for both Kenyan entries and the Tanzanian stay. These are road transfers, with time needed for immigration and a handover between the Kenya and Tanzania safari teams.
Allow time for the road journeys shown in the daily plan. Driving times are estimates, with stops, road conditions and border formalities affecting the day. Tell us about mobility needs or a preference for shorter travel days while we plan the route.

Standard insurance rates are US$44 per adult aged 18 or over, US$22 per child aged 3–17, and free for ages 0–2, subject to the insurer's eligibility rules and checkout. Insurance age bands may differ from lodge child rates. Cover is for up to 92 days, with the actual dates shown on your certificate. Keep the certificate and QR code accessible throughout the trip.
Residents of EAC and SADC member states qualify for the mainland exemption under NIC's published rules. This is residence-based, not simply a passport exemption. Confirm eligibility with NIC before departure.
The government policy is purchased separately and excluded from this safari price. Keep comprehensive personal travel insurance suitable for your activities, medical needs, cancellation risks and other countries visited.
