Overview
The 11 Days of Kenya Safari & Diani is a 11-day safari through Maasai Mara, Naivasha, Amboseli & Diani Beach, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. This route takes in Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Naivasha and 1 more protected areas, with each day sequenced to put you in the right place at the right time for wildlife.
Bush and beach is one of East Africa's most satisfying combinations, and this 11-day itinerary gets the balance right: proper wildlife days in prime game country, then a coastal or island stay to wind down. Transfers, accommodation, and logistics are all managed by the Saringi team in Nairobi. Dates, lodge category, and duration can be adjusted to suit your schedule.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Drive from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara. Arrive for lunch and afternoon game drive: even on arrival the Big Five are regularly sighted.
Day 2Maasai Mara – Full Day
Full day of game drives in the Mara. Morning predator tracking, lunch by the river, afternoon following the great wildebeest herds across the golden plains.
Day 3Maasai Mara – Full Day
Visit the Mara Triangle: exceptional lion encounters and spectacular river crossing site. Optional Maasai village visit in the evening.
Day 4Maasai Mara – Full Day
Third full day in the Mara: your guide's local knowledge deepens the experience each day. Morning guided walk with a Maasai ranger; afternoon following the big cats. Farewell sundowner in the reserve.
Day 5Maasai Mara – Lake Naivasha
Drive from the Mara east to Lake Naivasha (approx. 3 hrs). Arrive for a late lunch and afternoon hippo boat safari on the lake.
Day 6Lake Naivasha – Amboseli
Morning cycling in Hell's Gate National Park or a Crescent Island walk. Drive south to Amboseli (approx. 3.5 hrs). Arrive for a late lunch and afternoon game drive beneath Kilimanjaro.
Day 7Amboseli – Full Day
Full day in Amboseli: early morning drives for cloud-free Kilimanjaro views and elephant herds at the swamp. Afternoon lion and cheetah tracking on the open plains.
Day 8Amboseli – Flight to Mombasa – Diani Beach
Morning game drive then fly from Amboseli to Mombasa. Transfer south to Diani Beach. Arrive in time for a late lunch and your first evening on the Indian Ocean coast.
Day 9Diani Beach – At Leisure
Full day at the beach: swim, snorkel over the coral reef, kayak, or simply relax in the shade of a casuarina tree. Optional sunset dhow cruise.
Day 10Diani Beach – Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park
Full-day boat excursion to Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park: snorkelling above pristine coral reefs and swimming with dolphins in the warm blue water. Lunch on Wasini Island.
Day 11Diani Beach – Departure
Morning at leisure for a final walk on the beach. Transfer to Moi International Airport, Mombasa, for your departure. End of services.
