Overview
The 10 Days of Kenya Safari & Diani Beach is a 10-day safari through Maasai Mara, Amboseli & Diani Beach, Kenya, designed and operated by Saringi Tours. Based in Nairobi and women-led, Saringi has been building private African itineraries since 2018. This route takes in Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Diani, with each day sequenced to put you in the right place at the right time for wildlife.
Bush and beach is one of East Africa's most satisfying combinations, and this 10-day itinerary gets the balance right: proper wildlife days in prime game country, then a coastal or island stay to wind down. Transfers, accommodation, and logistics are all managed by the Saringi team in Nairobi. Dates, lodge category, and duration can be adjusted to suit your schedule.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Drive from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara (approx. 5 hrs). Arrive for lunch and afternoon game drive. The Mara's wildlife is immediate and impressive: lion prides visible on the open plains within minutes of entering the reserve.
Day 2Maasai Mara – Full Day
Full day of game drives: morning predator tracking, picnic lunch by the Mara River, afternoon following the wildebeest herds. Optional hot air balloon at dawn.
Day 3Maasai Mara – Full Day
Another full day in the reserve. Visit the Mara Triangle for exceptional lion encounters. Afternoon drive into the conservancy for elephant family groups and giraffe browsing the acacia tops. Maasai village visit available.
Day 4Maasai Mara – Drive to Amboseli
Morning game drive, then drive south through the Rift Valley to Amboseli (approx. 5 hrs). Arrive for a late lunch and first afternoon game drive beneath Kilimanjaro: the mountain often emerges from cloud cover in the late afternoon.
Day 5Amboseli – Full Day
Full day in Amboseli. Dawn drives are extraordinary: Kilimanjaro at its clearest and the elephant herds massing at the swamp edges. Observation Hill at midday. Afternoon drive for cheetah and lion. End the day watching the pink light fade on Kilimanjaro's glaciers.
Day 6Amboseli – Flight to Mombasa – Diani Beach
Morning game drive, then fly from Amboseli to Mombasa (approx. 45 min). Cross the Likoni Ferry south to Diani Beach. Check in to your ocean-facing resort and enjoy your first evening by the Indian Ocean.
Day 7Diani Beach – At Leisure
Full day on the beach: swim, snorkel, kayak, or simply relax under a palm tree. The warm turquoise water and white sand of Diani are magnificent after days in the bush.
Day 8Diani Beach – Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park
Full-day boat excursion to Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park: snorkelling above pristine coral reefs and swimming with dolphins. Lunch on Wasini Island. Return to Diani in the afternoon.
Day 9Diani Beach – Old Town Mombasa
Half-day excursion to Mombasa Old Town: UNESCO Fort Jesus, the Arab Quarter, and the vibrant spice market. Afternoon back at the beach for a final swim and farewell dinner at a beachside restaurant.
Day 10Diani Beach – Departure
Morning at leisure. Transfer to Moi International Airport, Mombasa, for your departure flight. End of services.
