Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Transfer to Tarangire (Approx. 2.5-3 hours)

Pick up from your Arusha hotel in the morning or airport on arrival and depart for Tarangire. Arrive with a short introductory game drive en route to the lodge for check-in and lunch. Rest and later enjoy a game drive at 3 or 4 p.m.

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2: Tarangire National Park- Full Day

Have morning & afternoon game drives on this day. Alternatively, have a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
Tarangire is a less crowded park well known for huge herds of elephants and baobab trees.

Overnight: Tarangire Kati Kati/ Tarangire Sopa Lodge/ Maramboi Tented Lodge / Tarangire Treetops

Day 3: Tarangire – Transfer to Ngorongoro

Have a pre-breakfast game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast. after breakfast, check out and drive to Ngorongoro. Arrive and check in at the lodge for lunch. There will be no game drive on this day. Spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the lodge facility, bush walks, or a Maasai village visit.

Day 4: Ngorongoro – Full Day

After breakfast, depart for a tour of the crater floor with picnic lunch boxes. Spend the day on the crater and have lunch at one of the famous picnic spots in the park. In the afternoon head back to the lodge.

Ngorongoro is quite unique as its physical protection from man’s natural beauty ranks it among the most pristine wilderness on the earth. It has been also declared a world heritage and is the largest intact crater in the world.

Day 5: Ngorongoro – Transfer to Serengeti (Approx. 2.5 hours)

Have early breakfast and depart for Serengeti with a short stop at Olduvai Gorge. Arrive in Serengeti in time for lunch. The afternoon game drive is at 3 or 4 p.m.

Serengeti National Park is a vast wilderness of approximately 14,750 square kilometers, well known for its breathtaking savannah landscapes, home to large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles that migrate annually in search of fresh grazing grounds. The park is also home to the iconic African “Big Five” – lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinoceroses – as well as a wide variety of other wildlife such as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and much more.

Day 6 & 7: Serengeti – Full Days

Spend these two days with full-day game drives in the Greater Serengeti- home to Africa’s Big Five. There will be a picnic lunch during the day. Alternatively, have morning and afternoon game drives. Spend part of the day exploring the camp facilities and nature walks.

Optional activity: Hot Air Balloon Ride, Maasai Village Visit, Bush breakfast or dinner

Day 8: Serengeti – Transfer to Lake Manyara. Approx 4 hours

Have breakfast and depart Serengeti for Lake Manyara with packed lunch. Arrive and enjoy a game drive then check in at the lodge, relax before dinner.

Day 9: Lake Manyara – Transfer to Arusha – To Zanzibar

After breakfast, check out and drive to Arusha. Our driver will drop you off at the airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. On arrival at Kisauni airport, our driver will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Check-in and rest. Your beach vacation begins.

Day 10 – 13: Zanzibar – Full Days

Spend these days on your own beach activities. Explore and utilize the hotel facilities.
