Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Kigali, Rwanda
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, our driver and representative will be waiting to welcome you and provide a short briefing before transferring you to your Hotel in Kigali.
Overnight: Kigali Marriott Hotel/ Hotel des Mille Collines
Meal Plan: Bed and breakfast
Day 2: Transfer to Musanze
After breakfast, meet our safari driver/guide, who will brief you shortly and later transfer you to the booked accommodation in Musanze. If time allows, you can have a short brief Kigali city tour, with a visit to the Kigali genocide memorial, learn more about the Rwanda 1994, genocide incidence, and later have lunch, before driving to Musanze. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking and transfer to Bwindi, Uganda
This morning, head for a Golden Monkey trekking experience that takes place in Volcanoes National Park at 7:00 a.m. Meet the park officials who will give you a short briefing before you start your trek. These rare species are also listed as endangered – and Volcanoes National Park currently has two habituated golden monkeys’ troops that are available for visiting in the park, both of which make about 50 members. Trekking golden monkeys and gorillas is a similar experience – in a small group of no more than eight people, and you can spend one hour with the monkeys once you find them.
After, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before driving to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, via Cyanika border post. Clear customs and drive to your booked accommodation, for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi
Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the briefing from the park official and thereafter drive to the trekking starting point. Have a short briefing before starting your trek in search of the shy mountain gorilla. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or a whole day depending on the movement of these primates.
You will return to the meeting point, meet your guide, and drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Kigali
Have your early morning breakfast, meet your guide, and drive back to Kigali, to arrive in the lunch hour. Depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to the airport for your outbound flight home.
