A 3-Day Safari exploring large herds of huge tusked elephants of Amboseli against the backdrop of the picturesque Mount Kilimanjaro. A short distance from Nairobi, Amboseli National Park is the ideal Kenya destination to get views of Mount Kilimanjaro, ironically situated across the border in Tanzania. There’s great big game viewing as well – especially around the Amboseli’s wetland areas – although it’s a popular and busy park at the best of times, given that year-round here is considered the best time for a safari in Kenya.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Amboseli (Approx. 4 hours)
Our representative and guide will receive you on arrival. Breakfast will be served at the city hotel followed by a safari briefing on the adventures ahead. After the briefing, and breakfast, depart Nairobi, and drive south to Amboseli National Park. On arrival, enjoy a short game drive en route to the camp/lodge for lunch. Depart at around 16:00 Hours for an afternoon game viewing and return to the camp for dinner and overnight. Amboseli National Park is situated at the foot of the highest mountain in Africa as well as the highest free-standing mountain in the world, the majestic snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. It is famous for its Tuskers which can be seen during game drives.
The park has large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes, lions and a variety of other animals and birds all of which are attracted to this park due to its permanent supply of water from Mt. Kilimanjaro’s melting snow.

Day 2: Exploring the Wildlife and landscapes of Amboseli
This full day in the Amboseli National Park will be spared for the search of the big cats, Elephant families, etc of Amboseli. Early morning game viewing will be the perfect time to catch a glimpse and photograph the highest peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro. After the morning game drive, return to the camp for breakfast and lunch. Have some rest, sunbathing, swimming. Depart for your afternoon game-viewing drive in search of the huge herds of elephants. Optional activity: Hot Air Balloon Ride & Maasai Village visit
Overnight: AA Lodge Amboseli/ Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or Ol Tukai Lodge/ Kibo Safari Camp/ Tawi Lodge

Day 3: Back to Nairobi
Breakfast will be served at the camp/ Lodge, departing by road to Nairobi with game viewing en route. Lunch will be served at the famous Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi. After lunch, transfer to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international departure flight with Africa Safari memories which will last forever.
