The next tour destination is the Maasai Mara, where you will explore its vast wilderness on daily game drives, discovering the Big Five, cheetahs, and countless bird species. Witness the habitat of the wildebeest migration and enjoy a picnic amidst the wilderness. Optional activities include hot air balloon rides and Maasai cultural visits.

The safari ends with a scenic return to Nairobi, including a morning game drive for one last glimpse of nature’s beauty.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Naivasha: Boat ride at Crescent Island

Our guide and representative will meet you at the airport on arrival and immediately depart for Lake Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon, you will have a boat ride to Crescent Island. Return to shore for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Overnight: Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge/ Enashipai Resort and Spa

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2: Discover black rhino haven in Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha for Lake Nakuru to arrive by mid-morning. Have a short game drive en route to the lodge for lunch. Another game drive is at 4 p.m. Look out for flamingos, rhinos, buffalos, giraffes, and much more.

Overnight: Sarova Woodlands Hotel/ Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 3: Transfer Maasai Mara

Have breakfast then depart for Mara to arrive in time for lunch. The afternoon game drive is from 3 or 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Overnight: Zebra Plains Mara Camp/ Basecamp Mara/ Ashnil Mara Camp or Sarova Mara Game Camp/ Entim Mara or Mara Bush Camp

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 4: Explore huge concentration of wildlife & home to the wildebeest migration

Spend the day with extensive full-day game drives in the Mara Reserve. You’ll have the opportunity to experience the Big Five, and a host of other wildlife, including cheetah and over 570 species of birds. There will be a picnic lunch at lunch hour.

Optional activities: Hot air balloon ride, Maasai Village Visit, & guided nature walks

Day 5: Transfer to Nairobi

Have an early-morning game drive then return to the camp for breakfast. Thereafter, depart for Nairobi with a stop for lunch en route, or have lunch in a city restaurant. You will be dropped off at the airport for your outbound flight or at your Nairobi stay.
