Summary

This is a 6-day flying safari to Amboseli National Park and Maasai Mara. Begin with breathtaking aerial views as you fly to Amboseli, famous for its majestic herds of elephants and the scenic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy game drives and luxurious world-class accommodations at lodges like Tawi or Serena.

Transfer to the Maasai Mara by air. Upon arrival, go on game drives in the vast savannahs full of wildlife, including the Big Five and other diverse wildlife, giving you endless photo opportunities. Spend two days on morning and afternoon game drives or choose optional experiences such as a hot air balloon safari, Maasai village visit, or bush breakfast.

This wildlife adventure tour concludes with a flight back to Nairobi, a sumptuous lunch, and a final transfer to your hotel or the airport.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Amboseli (By Flight)

You will be picked up by our driver from your Nairobi hotel at 6.15 a.m. and transferred to Wilson Airport for your flight to Amboseli which departs at 8.15 a.m. You will arrive in Amboseli at 8.55 a.m. You will be picked up by our driver and drive you to the camp with a short game drive en route. Check in and later enjoy lunch then relax before your afternoon game drive at 4 O’clock for 2 hours. Return later to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Overnight: Tawi/Ol Tukai or Serena

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2: Amboseli – Full day

These the whole day have morning and afternoon game drives with the rest of the time spent in the camp.

Overnight: Tawi/Ol Tukai or Serena

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 3: Amboseli – Transfer to Maasai Mara (By Flight)

After breakfast at the camp, you will be transferred to the airstrip for a flight to Mara via Nairobi. You will arrive at Mara by mid-morning and be picked up by our driver. Enjoy an introductory game drive once you arrive en route to the camp for lunch. Have lunch and relax before an afternoon game drive at 4 o’clock for 2 hours.

Overnight: Entim or Mara Bush Camp/Sarova or Ashnil/Zebra Plains or Basecamp or Pride Inn Mara

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 4 & 5: Maasai Mara – Full day

Spend these 2 days with game drives in search of the big five and many other wildlife that inhabits these beautiful savannah plains.

Optional activities:Hot air balloon, a visit to Maasai village, sun downer, bush breakfast & guided nature walks

Overnight: Entim or Mara Bush Camp/Sarova or Ashnil/Zebra Plains or Basecamp or Pride Inn Mara

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 6: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Nairobi (flight)

Have breakfast then you will be transferred to the airstrip for a flight to Nairobi departing at 11.15 a.m. You will arrive at 12.15 p.m. and be transferred for lunch. Later be dropped off at your hotel or airport.

1 to 2 children aged 3-11 years, sharing a room with 2 adults pay 50% of the adult rate, and 75% of the adult rate if in their own room.
