If you’re lucky enough to time your visit around the great migration, between July and October every year, you will be privileged to see one of the largest mass movements of animals on the planet.
This introduction to the joys of African safari will enrich your cultural experience of Africa, you can see the Great African Rift Valley, homesteads of local farmers, as well as villages of the Maasai people. They have called this place home since time immemorial and range across the land with grace.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Maasai Mara (Approx. 5 hours)
Our tour guide/driver and representative will meet you at the airport on arrival or at your Nairobi hotel. After a short briefing, depart for Maasai Mara to arrive in time for check-in and lunch. After lunch, relax at the camp/lodge before going for an evening game drive from 4-6 p.m.
Overnight: Zebra Plains Mara Camp or Prideinn Mara Camp or Basecamp Mara / Ashnil Mara Camp or Sarova Mara Game Camp, Mara Serena Safari Lodge/ Mara Bush Camp – Private Wing/ Angama Mara

Day 2: Exploring the African Big Five and other wildlife adventures in Mara
After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes and spend the day on extensive game drives in the Mara Reserve. If you’re looking to see Big Cats, the Masai Mara National Reserve is an excellent place to spot them. The Mara has been called the Kingdom of Lions and these powerful hunters dominate these grasslands. Cheetahs are also a common sight in the Mara, as are hyenas and smaller predators such as jackals. Picnic lunch by the banks of Mara River. Alternatively, you can have morning and afternoon game drives.

On your final day, have a pre-breakfast game drive and return to camp for breakfast. Check out and depart for Nairobi. You will have late lunch in the city before dropping off at your hotel or airport to end the safari.
